If you are pregnant or think you are facing an unintended pregnancy, you may have spiritual concerns you want to address as you consider your options.  Including your spirituality in your decision-making can enrich and enhance this experience in you life. The Missouri Religious Coalition for Reproductive Choice has resources available.

Please remember that it is important to talk to someone you trust: a family member, a close friend, or a member of the clergy.  Whatever your decision, you need people around you who are supportive.

We Speak Our Faith Aloud

For those who are pregnant or those who have experienced a reproductive loss, we offer:

Free Counseling
Our specially trained counselors are clergy and people of faith: Roman Catholic, Jewish, Unitarian-Universalist, Protestant Christian, Buddhist, and Muslim. Persons of no particular religious faith are equally welcome to receive our services.

"As a person of faith, I belong to RCRC because this is the only group of which I am aware that is willing to struggle with the deeper, more complex ethical issues surrounding child bearing. We are pro-family, pro-child, and pro-maternal health. The rule is always love and compassion, not self righteousness.  Issues as important as whether or whether not to have a child need to be left to women, their spouses, their doctors, and their faith communities, not judges and law makers and politicians."   The Rev. Suzanne Meyer, member since 2005

All-Options Approach
Our counselors will not burden you with moral judgments about your pregnancy and choices.  The counselors will listen to your needs and concerns, will help you explore all possible choices and will honor your decisions.  We want to offer you an opportunity for candid dialogue about your experience and provide the support you need to move forward in a healthy way.

Reproductive Loss
Families who have dealt with a loss such as miscarriage, abortion, placing a child for adoption,
infertility, stillbirth, or a denial of adoption may choose to speak to a trained clergy counselor about the confusing emotions of grief, guilt, anger, joy, and relief .  No two loss experiences are identical, and yet all share some similar responses.
